CONROE, TX — Minco Inc., a precision machining, and fabrication company serving the subsea oil and gas industry since 1978, celebrated its workforce this week after achieving strong safety and quality performance in March.
The Conroe-based manufacturer hosted an on-site appreciation event for its 26 employees, featuring a local taco truck and team activities inside the facility, as a direct recognition of the team's commitment to zero safety incidents and sustained quality standards.
"Our people are the reason we've been in business for 48 years," said J.B. Cheatham, G.M. of Minco Inc. "When the team earns it, we celebrate it — out loud and together."
Minco specializes in high-mix, low-volume precision components for subsea applications. The company has been an active practitioner of 2-Second Lean principles, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and team recognition across all departments.
The celebration was captured in a short video now available on the Minco website.
